Conserve School is pleased to add the lithograph titled, “Faster, Higher, Stronger” by Robert Wyland to it’s collection. Wyland is a prolific artist with a strong love of the sea and a commitment to marine life conservation. He first came to my attention through my exposure to his “Whaling Wall Project” in which he painted 100 life size murals of whales and marine life on buildings around the world. The Wyland Foundation is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the world’s ocean, waterways, and marine life. Wyland gives generously of his time and talents in support of environmental causes.
Earlier this month I attended the 42nd Annual North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. This was my first NAAEE conference and I was impressed. I am glad that I had the chance to support this amazing event by placing the winning bid on this lithograph that Wyland generously donated. I am doubly pleased because not only will the money support the NAAEE, the lithograph will bring a bit of the ocean to the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
