Students Hold Seder Feast

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Recently Conserve School students Danielle, Rose, and Rachel took the initiative to share their heritage with the rest of the student body by holding a Seder feast and inviting anyone who was interested in learning more about this ritual Jewish feast. The Seder feast traditionally marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover and is accompanied by a retelling of the story of the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. In the accompanying photos, you can see students reading the texts associated with the Seder feast and the symbolic foods placed on the Passover Seder Plate.

  1. I appreciate how willingly the students invite each other to share in their traditions. It is a pleasure to be part of a community that celebrates and appreciates the richness of its diversity.

    • It is nice to see my daughter Danielle celebrating Passover with Rose and Rachel and all her new friends at Conserve. The students of CS2 are a fantastic group and I hope they stay in touch for years to come.
