Conserve Students Learn about Summer Expeditions

Jordan Stone, a recruiter for Cottonwood Gulch Expeditions, visited Conserve School on Thursday to share with interested students a summer opportunity to  explore the wild lands of New Mexico.

Cecilia, Alex, Koty, Dave, and Devon listen to Jordan's presentation and enjoy photos of New Mexico.

Jordan gave an informal presentation with slides after classes and was available to chat with students during dinner as well.

This program comes highly recommend by CS1 student Walker and his family, who have participated in a number of expeditions with Cottonwood Gulch.

Jordan uses one of Conserve School's mobile Smartboards to show students photos of Cottonwood Gulch backpacking trips.

Over the course of the semester, we’ll be providing students with  a variety of information about summer programs related to the outdoors and environmental studies.
