Conserve Students Serve their Community

Every Wednesday afternoon Conserve School students and field instructors fan out across campus to attend to chores, under the direction of Stewardship Coordinator Jean Haack. Yesterday, chores included pulling the invasive spotted knapweed, painting ultimate frisbee boundaries on the sports fields, pulling weeds and harvesting carrots in the garden, assisting with paperwork in the Student Services office, and trimming branches and clearing brush on the trails.  The late summer sun, cool temperatures, and good company helped the work along.

Enjoy the photos!
