The Start of Sugar Season

This week the early thaw has brought with it the launching of maple syrup production at Conserve School. Students and staff have been tapping trees and collecting the sap to begin the process of producing the delicious maple syrup that will be used in the dining room throughout the year.

Anita, Bennett, Matt, and Trina prepare to tap some trees.

William uses the brace to drill his first hole while Kath and Jeff observe.
