Dae Ho Kim, In Memoriam

Update:
We will hold a memorial service in Dae Ho’s honor at 2:00 in the afternoon at Conserve School on Saturday, February 6. All parents, alums, and friends are most welcome to join us. For those of you who will be attending: the service will be formal. To be respectful to our Korean students, families, and their culture, dark, conservative, dressy clothing would be most appropriate.

September 11, 1990 – February 3, 2010

It is with great sadness that we mark the passage of our friend and classmate Dae Ho Kim. Tragically, Dae Ho became ill just a few days ago and was hospitalized at the Marshfield Clinic, one of the best hospitals in the country. Doctors were not able to determine the source of his illness. His health rapidly declined and Dae Ho passed away early Wednesday evening. A native of South Korea and a senior at Conserve, Dae Ho spent four years as a vital part of the Conserve School community. A quiet leader, he was active in soccer, Envirothon, math competitions, and had recently been accepted to Brown University. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all whose lives have been touched by his generous spirit. We at Conserve School are currently working with his family in planning a memorial service for Dae Ho in the next few days. Watch this page for more details.
