Remembering Patti

On Monday, students and staff members gathered around the Donahue Commons firepit in memory of Patti Soderberg, a former Conserve School teacher and house parent who passed away unexpectedly last week. Patti is warmly remembered by the many students, colleagues, and friends whose lives she enriched. Newly fallen snow, a warm fire, and thick snowflakes slowly drifting down around us created a quiet and beautiful setting for reflecting on the good that Patti brought to our community. We shared fond memories of Patti’s unflagging energy, kind nature, and heartfelt devotion to her students, and then rang the school bell 52 times to honor each year of Patti’s life.

Below you can see Patti in some of the many roles she played during her time at Conserve School (2000-2007).
