Blood Drive on Campus

Xaxira is checked in and ready to donate.

Yesterday was a blustery, cold Northwoods winter day, complete with icy roads and blowing snow, but that didn’t stop the local Community Blood Center from trucking their equipment to Conserve School for a blood drive. Trina Van Schyndel, Graduate Fellow Community Service Coordinator, writes:

We did have a successful blood drive once again, even adding a few more donors! And again this was all thanks to the wonderful community here at Conserve. Kitchen staff and maintenance staff helped get everything up and running and kept the Community Blood Center staff well fed and happy. And of course faculty, staff, graduate fellows, and students all donated blood and helped save 81 lives!
