Student Chefs Cook Up a Special Meal

Megan chops fruit for her apple-squash bake, a dish that makes great use of seasonal Wisconsin produce.

Megan sent in some pictures and a few comments to share on the blog. Last week Conserve School’s Environmental Communication class put on a very successful event on campus. See this post for more details. The class began the day by preparing a special meal for one another. Megan writes:

On that Saturday morning some of us got up and made food in the Salats’ apartment. We each took a dish, and Carolee was nice enough to lend us her kitchen and expertise when needed. I made apple- squash bake. Sophie made cranberry almond biscotti. Bill made pasties.

Thanks for sharing, Megan!

Sophie shows off her biscotti.
