Dining Al Fresco

It’s been an unusually dry and mild September in the Northwoods, with a high temperature in the 70’s on 22 of the first 24 days of the month.   Students and staff have taken full advantage of this late summer bonanza, with teachers routinely holding class outdoors, and students regularly playing and relaxing outside during their free time.  Many of us have fully enjoyed, as well, the near-daily opportunity to eat our meals on the picnic tables outside the dining room, overlooking Little Donahue Lake.  The fresh air and sunshine, in combination with the near-absence of bugs (compliments of a late-August frost), have provided an ideal setting for this outdoor dining.  Delicious.
