Volleyball at the Lowenwood Recreation Center

Saturday Trina VanSchyndel, one of the Graduate Fellows on the Activities Team, organized an afternoon of volleyball games at the LRC. Saturday was windy, cold, and rainy, so being outside was not much fun. A number of students dropped in the LRC to play during the afternoon.

As one of their many responsibilities, our Graduate Fellows serve on one of three teams: the Administrative Leadership Team, which works with Student Services staff to supervise the library, support academics, and carry out Student Services functions; the Sustainability Team, which works with students on the Sustainability Service Team, manages existing sustainability activities on campus, and creates and promotes new ways for Conserve School to be environmentally friendly; and the Activity Team, which plans and supervises LRC  activities and extracurricular programs and events. The Activity Team has surveyed students on their athletic interests and will continue to plan weekend intramural sports activities like this one.
