Conserve Science Classes Hold Energy Fair
As part of the Environmental Science class here at Conserve School, students were asked to investigate the way energy is used around campus. Groups of students worked together to develop a research project and presentation about how to improve upon Conserve School’s existing energy usage. Recycling electronic devices, efficient lighting systems, hand dryers, transportation systems, and the Green Ribbon School Award requirements were just some of the topics that were investigated by the students this semester. After the research was done the students created displays to showcase their work to the Conserve School community during an energy fair after school. There were quite a few bright ideas presented and the students and staff all enjoyed hearing about the different projects!
